God Damn I love Hip Hop! This is how I fell in love with the music and culture.

As far back as i can remember I loved music. Around the age of 6 my step sister gave me a Salt-N-Peppa cassette tape, I rocked that shit in my walkman until it wouldn’t play anymore.

Not long after I had a babysitter introduce me to Wu-Tang Clan 36 Chambers, and it completely changed my life. I grew up an only child in a single parent home. We never had a lot but through my Mom working hard and loving friends and family we always got by.

Hip Hop became a huge part of my life, I felt I could relate to the stories, the language intrigued me, the clothing fascinated me, the rhythm of the beat pumped me up, and the samples from older music gave me my first feelings of nostalgia.

At the age of 8 Mom and I moved from Nelson, BC to Maple Ridge, BC to live with my Aunt and cousins. My cousin Jesse introduced me to Tupac, Mack 10, Too Short and Easy E.

This was when i started to collect CDs and broaden my taste in the genre. I use to shop at this store that sold second hand music called the CD shack, its there where I got into collecting The No Limit Soldiers CDs. I spent the remainder of my childhood with hip hop music blasting out of my boom box or my discman where ever possible. damn I love this shit!

I had this immense feeling of  guilt and shame as if I had done something terribly wrong, this grew into me telling myself I was a piece of garbage. I also had this emptiness inside of me and it made me think I had no place in the world. learn more

  • Wtf is a Slum Glutton? How I created my stage name.
It all started back when I was 10 or 11 years old. I loved to eat, and even at a young age decided to start being creative with food preparation. It was around the time where I was also playing make believe scientist, mixing chemicals up and lighting them on fire. Needless to say it was a messy time in my mom's kitchen.learn more
